Tom/Cedric Vietnam talkinamyself

Cedric remembers a “Tom Walker from Bandera, Texas.”

KATE: How?

CEDRIC (BEAT): Vietnam.

KATE (BEAT): Under what circumstances?

Cedric looks off into space.

KATE (BEAT): Cedric?

He turns to her.

CEDRIC: Saved my life.

KATE: A story you could share with me?

He nods, stands, extends hand to her.

CEDRIC: Early walk?

She nods, takes his hand, stands.

CEDRIC (CONT.) Probably a helluva lot of Tom Walkers have come out of Bandera, Texas.

KATE: Agreed.

They walk hand in hand to sliding glass door,

KATE (CONT.): There will be photographs.

CEDRIC: It’s been awhile.

KATE: Do you think he’d remember Warrant Officer Cedric Turner.

They arrive at sliding glass door.

CEDRIC: If he does I’d sure like to talk to him.

He opens door, leads into bedroom, they leave view.
